At Asbury Youth Ministry, we seek to use P.A.S.E. to bring our youth into closer relationship with God.
P = Practicality – We seek to meet Middle and High School students where they are and give them the tools they need to survive and thrive as Christian leaders in our culture. Our goal is for our teens to leave our ministry fully formed disciples of Jesus Christ.
A = Accountability – We seek to provide a safe and secure environment for preteens and teens to launch from and return to as their home base. We understand that our efforts stand in support of and are responsible to our youth’s families.
S = Simplicity – We seek to use routine and tradition to best maximize our time and efforts with our students. While we will take advantage of today’s technology, we are not trying to re-invent the wheel of youth ministry.
E = Effective – We seek to pursue best practices, curricula, and procedures to do what works in our specific circumstance. We will judge programs, lessons, and strategies by their ability to help our preteens and teens grow.
Asbury Youth Ministry hosts weekly Middle and High School small groups during Asbury’s Sunday School hour (10:00-11:00 AM) and a weekly Youth Group meeting from 5:00-8:00 PM on Sunday evenings. We also invite our youth to a variety of “just-for-fun” events, spiritual retreats, and worship nights throughout the year. Please check out our church calendar here to see up-coming events.
